The Parts of a Ladybug • There are 8 parts to a Ladybug: • Head • Antenna • Eyes • Pronotum • Throax and Abdomen • Elytra • Wings • Legs
The Parts of a Ladybug- • Head: The head is round and thin.
Parts of a Ladybug- • Antenna:Helps the ladybug smell, taste, and find their way around.
Parts of a Ladybug- • Eyes: A ladybug has 2 eyes, but cannot see very well. Everything they see is in black and white.
Parts of a Ladybug- • Pronotum: This is the part right behind the ladybug’s flat head and makes the head look round. Also, it helps protect the head.
Parts of a Ladybug- • Thorax and Abdomen: This is the section the wings and legs are connected to. Also, where the digestive system is located.
Parts of a Ladybug- • Elytra: This is the hard “shell” that covers the wings. Also, this is the part that holds the ladybugs color.
Parts of a Ladybug- • Wings: The wings actually do not help the ladybug fly, they make the ladybug more clumsy.
