  2. Mr. McGregor's Problem One night when he was fast asleep, something strange happened to his greenhouses. The next morning, he had many more plants than the night before. Mr. McGregor cannot work out what has happened or why he has more plants every morning. This is your mission....can you solve the greenhouse mystery? Mr McGregor is relying on you!

  3. This is Greenhouse One. In here Mr McGregor grows sunflowers. Mr McGregor planted 1 sunflower on Monday morning, but on Tuesday morning there were 3 sunflowers. Look at what happened over the next few days...can you see a pattern? What is the rule for this greenhouse?

  4. This is Greenhouse Two. In here, Mr. McGregor grows pumpkins. Mr. McGregor planted 5 pumpkins on Monday morning, but on Tuesday morning there were 10 pumpkins. Look at what happened over the next few days...can you see a pattern? Can you work this one out on your own? Work out the rule and then continue the pattern for Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

  5. Extension Task: Can you continue the sequence for the next week to see how many plants Mr. McGregor will have after 2 weeks?
