  3. Attended Valparaiso University in Northwest Indiana (outside of Chicago) from 1997 - 2000. Originally a music education major. Met Amanda,my wife, at Valpo. Next I Was A Crusader

  4. Back To School I Go! Go Blue! • Attended the University of Michigan - Flint from August 2007 to graduation December 2010. • Earned a Bachelor of Arts • Major: Social Studies • Minor: History

  5. Student Teaching • Completed my student teaching at St. Johns High School in St. Johns Michigan • Taught mostly freshman but some sophomores - American History

  6. I Have Two Kids… • I have a nine year old daughter and a four year old son. • My daughter, Ireland, is a fourth grader in the East Lansing school system and was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome 4 years ago. • My son, Euan, attends a learning center in East Lansing and will start Kindergarten next year.

  7. We Also Have Two Dogs • Adopted Molly & Wendie from a rescue shelter. • Molly is a Terrier - Poodle Mix. Wendie is a Border-Collie. • Great with the kids and love people. • Both dogs are about four years old.

  8. What I Like To Do When Not Here • Obviously I like to spend time with my family. • I like to camp and have camped all over the State. • I love the Christmas season - it is perhaps my favorite time of the year.

  9. About Me Continued • I am also an avid reader especially of historical novels. Right now I am reading Rick Riordan’s Heros of Olympus series and recently I finished David Liss’s The Whiskey Rebels &Bernard Cornwell’s The Fort. • I love all genres of Music - most recently I have been listening to Mumford and Sons Sigh No More as well as Coldplay’s Mylo Xyloto album.
