Dearest Team Members • I’m so proud of all of you! We have hit the pink car production points and exceeded our own production unit record for the 3rd time! I strongly believe that we are seriously running for no. 1 unit production in Mary Kay Singapore! • New Consultants please remember to visit my blog: http://fromjulianadesk.wordpress.com. Password is diamond. Please download things you required to learn – skincare script, things you required for classes, etc. • This October 2012, we ended in strong points! Joey is running for her directorship, she has just recruited her 7th member in her unit! I believe she is the next strong director in my team. Joey maybe tiny but she’s very strong in spirit and very focus in what she do! She’s like the mini me! • Many Consultants asked me how I do it? How I succeed? I always told them FOCUS is key! Even if there are darkness infront of me, I look upto FAITH and trust FAITH will pull me thru! Everyday is a great day for me! I always opened up my arms infront of the window (even if my neighbour thinks I’m crazy!) and said the following affirmations: • “Everyday I have 5 skincare classes!” • “200 recruits come to me easily in abundance way!” • I have 5 SDs in my team now! • Every month, I will hit 6000 PSP • I thank God for sending 1000 women customers to each of my unit members! • 1000 customers come to me now! In my eyes, I see many of my team members as SALES DIRECTORS already, you may not know it, but I see “mini me” in so many of my team members, they are already SALES DIRECTORS already! I have seen so many changes in Natalie, Joey, Rosalind, Cassandra, Siti, Fatonah, Norma, Iris, when I see them they are always dressed as a Beauty Trainer and as a Leader already. Congrats to Norma, she’s a Team Builder now! In our line of work, image is very important so that there’s trust created between you and your customers. Recently a friend sent me pictures of Pastor Joel Osteen (Left from Texas) and Joseph Prince (Right, New Creation Church Pastor), I must said even Men like them look so good, so that’s no excuse for us commoners to not look good! They look really good as a Pastor I must say!
Last newsletter, I promised that I will share on how to find customers, here’s some tips : • Go nail salons, and keep sharing, dress like a beauty trainer (armed with namecards and lookbook) and prepare to smile and be friendly, and talk to anybody that’s at the nail salons. • Bring lipspa with you when you are shopping, and when you find a salesperson with dry lips, ask her to try, and be enthusiastic about it! I also bring LOOKBOOKs when I’m out. • Go network parties, churches, weddings to make new friends! • Always begin your classes, thinking how to make these women beautiful in your classes, not how much you can earn from them. • Always SMILE during your classes, have fun with the guests! We are not teachers! We are just learning with them on how to take care of your skin, and PRAISE them always during the workshops! Make them feel good and look good, if you are not good in makeup, just Practice Practice! I must give compliments on Cindy Lam, she kept on practising her makeup after I taught her! Cindy, I’m so proud of you! You will do very well, I know it! • I will keep all the gifts from LOS and Monthly Bonus from Company, and give it to my hostesses. Because it look “huge” and they are really FREEBIES which you don’t have to spend money to get it! Be generous with gifts! I also let my hostesses earn credit $$ on whatever sold during the classes, so she can use the credit $$$ to redeem the MK products. • Always love your customers! Do up a rewards card to earn loyalty customers! If you do not know what it is, come to my class on 16 Nov 2012 at 7pm! My offer to customers is if they spend $500 within a year, they will get $50 off the next product.
8) I always have hostesses who are willing to organiseclassses for me! If you don’t have , just pretend you have hostesses already so the universe will send you one soon! Always fake it till you make it! • Please make sure your FB looks professional! I see many of my team members make their FACEBOOK like it’s their CV, they look very good and like a BEAUTY TRAINER (full makeup and well groomed)! Sometimes I get customers just like that too! They asked if I sell Mary Kay products, I say yes! And I conduct classes for them! So look very good on FB so you can attract new customers! Please do not mention any bad stuff on FB! When you are on social media, it’s public! Nothing is personal anymore! So hence if you mentioned negative remarks, everybody ‘s going to read all about it! So leave it only for compliments, positive remarks on products, thank you note for your hostess who host classes for u (so you actually announced to everyone that hey! as my hostess you get a gift too!), we all like compliments all the time! Hence mentioning your hostess name on FB, she will be so proud of herself! And please post up pictures of you conducting classes! Hence looking good is mandatory! Must put on full makeup all the time! • I realisedSiti is always posting MK stuff on her FB and also blast out to other FB groups and sometimes she get new customers from there. Please note if it’s new customers, please make sure they transfer money to you via POSB savings then you deliver the goods to them.
11) Please open up PAYPAL account and use your IPAD / laptop when accepting credit card payment. I have more sales now because I’m using PAYPAL to accept credit card payment. If you do not know what’s that, please go to www.paypal.com to know more 12) When you are doing your workshops, please mentioned about the “next class what you are going to teach” at least 8 times, and also mentioned that if anyone brings a friend, you will give her a gift too. 13) If you are worrying about your business, just pray! 14) You could do flea marts (to promote your skincare/ makeup classes!) and please dress well and put on full makeup when you are promoting your classes! If not how would anyone believe that you are a Beauty Trainer? 15) Ask your friends to introduce their HR person to you so you could write in and try to see whether you could help provide grooming to their companies. 16) Create an account on LINKED IN and please look PROFESSIONAL here, and mentioned that you are a Beauty Trainer from Mary Kay, and that you provide free grooming workshops, sometimes I get new leads from there! I sincerely wish you all the best in your Mary Kay career! I really admire Jesse’s tenacity to doing this business! Don’t give up too easily, sometimes you just need to show to the Universe how much you wanted this business, and you are already so close to the treasure, do not give up your treasure so easily!
My goal for next seminar is to become Queen of Sales and Queen of Sharing for 2013 seminar, and produce 20 Sales Director in my unit and be a National Sales Director by Dec 2013. Debrief for all Consultants/ Every Friday 7pm (Nov onwards) at Intl Plaza • Every Friday at 7pm it’s our skincare/makeup open class. You can bring your guests, however you are required to bring your own products for your guests. • After the whole skincare class, let’s sit down together and do debrief. • As you can see from the above flow of the class, there are 3 parts. To all New Consultants, please memorise the following when you attend my classes: • For first class, memorise what I did for part 1. • Then when you come for the second class, memorise what I did for part 2 • and then when you come for third class, memorise what I did for part 3. During the classes, you can record or video taped me during the classes. This business is all about duplicating . Just duplicate what I did. And treat all your guests with the “Make me Feel Important” attitude. Tell me also your learning key points and what can you improve from there. Challenge for all Consultants (1 Nov to 31 Dec 2012)– If you feel that you are ready, call me to observe your classes. Consultants who conduct at least 3 classes, will get a special gift from me!
