  4. Guitar String Names • Easy way to memorize strings names is remembering the saying, Eddie Ate, Dynamite, Good, Bye, Eddie. • Learning string names is vital in beginning to understand guitar theory.

  5. How to Hold a Guitar • Acoustic Position- Mostly generally used for modern music, rock, country, and pop. • Classical Position- Generally used for classical music.

  6. How to Hold a Guitar Pick Movie Tutorial After watching video, practice strumming your guitar and getting comfortable using it.

  7. Homework Memorize the different parts of the guitar and the string names. Practice a couple of different chords and be prepared to show them next class meeting. Have a great day!!!
