Advocacy Ways to advocate: • Provide research that shows how your program increases student achievement • Provide research that shows how up-to-date materials (technology and books) bring about higher test scores • Provide research that shows how important information literacy skills are • Provide research that shows collaboration with teachers leads to better lessons Why is this important?
Funding In my research, I found many resources related to funding. This included how to write successful grants, available grants, free resources, and fundraising opportunities. This was the main focus of my research.

Grants There are an abundance of grants available to teachers and media specialists. Many of these can be found in the module folders. The folders contain websites and articles to help anyone interested in learning about ways to save, how to write grants, and grants that are available. They are intended for use by teachers, principals, and media specialists to help them achieve their goals. These are posted online to benefit all interested.
