  1. Revolutionary Storybook Jada Ford “From A Patriots Eye” Christopher Thompson

  2. This picture shows men getting ready for the England and American War

  3. French Indian War ~The French Indian War took place from 1754-1763 ~It started in Europe and over years it spread to North America ~It was a conflict between Great Britain and France ~Resulted in Britain taking over all French lands in North America ~The French Indian War was important because as a patriot, I would fight for my freedom just like they did

  4. Sugar Act ~The Sugar Act was an act that increased the cost and rate of taxes for sugar, wine and other everyday uses in those days ~It was passed on April 5,1764 ~It was passed by British Parliament ~I don't think the Sugar Act was necessary in those days but, now in days I think it is necessary because we as Americans need to pay back our debt

  5. Stamp Act ~The Stamp Act was passed by the British Parliament ~ It was passed on March 22,1775 ~They would be charged for every single piece of paper that was printed ~The money would be used to help pay and help the 10,000 troops near the Appalachian Mountains ~The Stamp Act is very important because the actual cost was a small amount and we should want to give to people who give to us specially in the war

  6. Townsend Act ~This act placed new and higher taxes on lead, paper, tea, oil, and glass ~It was passed in June 16,1765 ~ Britain repealed all the taxes ~Named for Charles Townshend ~”Also on March 5, Townshend's successor (he had died soon after proposing the hated act), Lord Frederick North, asked Parliament to repeal the Townshend Acts except for the duty on tea; he considered all the duties bad for trade and, thus, expensive for the British empire. However, he wished to avoid the appearance of weakness in the face of colonial protest and thus left the tea tax in place. This strategy successfully divided colonial merchants, eager, for their own enrichment, to resume trade in all British goods barring tea, from colonial craftsmen, who profited from non-importation agreements, and wished to leave them in place as long as the tax on tea remained in effect.” http://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/british-repeal-hated-townshend-act ~I agree with Lord Frederick North because tea is always going to be something that is taxed

  7. Boston Massacre ~The Boston Massacre occurred on March 5, 1770 ~The Boston Massacre is the killing of 5 colonists ~The 5 colonists were killed by British regulars ~British Regulars were colonist who were loyal to the king (loyalist) ~It was a street fight which means that it happened on the street ~They threw snowballs, stones, and sticks
