  2. Background Information on Red Sox The team colors of the Red Sox are red, white and blue. Fenway Park is where the Red Sox play and it is located in Boston, Mass. The name of the mascot is Wally the green monster. The Red Sox are one of the oldest teams forming in 1903. the previous season record in 2011 was 96-66.
