Landforms • Argentina has some of the tallest mountain ranges, unrestrained deserts and impressive waterfalls. • Argentina can be separated into six portions namely Cuyo and Andean Northwest, Mesopotamia and the Northeast, The Chaco, The Pampas, Patagonia and Lake District and Tierra Del Fuego. • Cuyo and Andean Northwest has fertile river valleys and subtropical lowlands. It gets very little rainfall. • Mesopotamia and the Northeast is wet, hot, and swampy. • The Chaco has grasslands and thorny forests. • The Pampas is mostly fertile. • Patagonia and Lake District has oil and coal and experiences and it is a desert climate. • Tierra Del Fuego is mild and is frequent to storms.
