What a Bald Eagle looks like. A Bald Eagle has brown feathers in the first 3 or 4 years. Most eagles are brown and black. They can be up to 24 to 45 inches. A Bald Eagle weighs 14 pounds. Their wing span is 6 to 8 feet. They have strong legs and sharp talons.
Baby Eagles Baby eagles are called eaglets. Bald Eagles lay 3 eggs per time. Eaglets have black feathers and the mother has brown and white feathers.
A Bald Eagles habitat It can live in the desert to the chilly Arctic Tundra and Canada. The Bald Eagle’s Ohio habitat is trees near Lake Erie.
A Bald Eagles prey Bald Eagles eat owls and mice. Bald Eagles rarely eat road kill. Their is a variety of other animals. It eats ducks, fish, coots, and many other animals. The Bald Eagle dives straight down to catch it’s prey.
