The diet of The Bald Eagle mainly consists of fish but also include, waterfowl, and small mammals like squirrels, prarie dogs, racoons, a and rabbits, thus making it a Carnivore. Diet
A Bald Eagle typically nests in forested areas adjacent to large bodies of water, staying away from heavily populated areas. Bald Eagles are tolerant around humans when feeding, and may gather around fish processing plants, dumps, and under dams where fish concentrate. When perching, Bald Eagles prefer tall, well developed trees that afford a wide view of surroundings. During the winter seasons, Bald eagles can also be seen in dry, open uplands if there is access to open water for fish. Habitat
