  7. Credit by Exam • Nature and content of the examination shall be determined solely by faculty in the discipline that normally teaches the course. • Does not have to be conducted at the college.

  8. Articulation of High School Courses Without Credit By Exam • May not be used toward any general education requirement for an associate degree • May not be used to fulfill the 60 semester units requirement to receive an associate degree.

  12. Why Delay Credit? § 55050. Credit by Examination. Such credit may be granted only to a student who is registered at the college and in good standing and only for a course listed in the catalog of the community college.

  13. University Articulation Issues § 55051. Articulation of High School Courses “Notations of community college course credit shall be made only if community college courses are successfully completed or if credit is earned via credit by examination.”

  14. Once You Have AgreementsHow Do Students Get Credit? Without Help, Students Will Not Find Their Way To Your Programs This is Where Your Process Comes in Make Sure Everyone Knows What Your Process Is and Follows It.

  15. Successful Programs Know Faculty Members/Tech Prep Coordinators From the CC Must Be Recognizable on the HS and ROCP Campus Teachers and Students Need to Know What they Need to Do and Where They Need to Go. Who Keeps the Articulation Paperwork? Who Takes the Information to A & R?
