Case #2F. Zappa • 72-year-old woman, good medical condition • Left superior sulcus tumor (poorly diff. NSCLC), 7.5 cm largest diameter; cT3N0M0, clinical stage IIB • Patient treated with palliative RT (14x2.5 = 35 Gy) • According to the current evidence, ideal treatment in a medically-operable good-condition patient would be concurrent preoperative thoracic RT (45 Gy) and 2 cycles of platin containing chemotherapy followed by surgery • If medically inoperable, definitive RT/CT up to at least 60-Gy
