  6. Reviewing what we know: Establishing membership prior to 1st payroll On-line membership entry Paper Membership Application Removing GLI data elements from the monthly payroll report Using only the PSC “short list” LOB Reporting-ER Requirements

  8. Learning something new: All payroll reports will contain the same data elements EPF file stays the same (upon removal of GLI elements) “Paper Filers” will change LOB Reporting-ER Requirements

For “Paper Filers”: Plan Code – changing from 2 to 5 digits AC = 110AC Plan Participation Code – new A = actively participating (EE rate and ER rate for plan) Y = Employer paid employee contributions Rate Schedule Number – new 000053 = PSC 53 000001 = all other PSCs when PPC is A MainePERS assigned number when PPC is Y LOB Reporting-ER Requirements

  14. New Application for Coverage is available on line. Form is 8 ½ by 11 Employees who are not eligible for coverage do not need to complete a form. Recent Group Life Changes

  17. 436 surveys went out All but 2 were e-mailed 47 % returned (as of 3/24/09) Results of ERWG group: 8 vendors represented in group of 12 employers Windows widely used, most using XP Split between Office 2003 & 2007 Survey Results

  18. MainePERS will be on the road: 6 to 8 regional meetings Taking place in May and June Providing overview of the LOB (V3) system Regional Meetings
