Additional Considerations • How long has the current state IPM program been in place? • How long has the current State IPM Coordinator been in place (or is there one)? • What is the average total annual funding for the state IPM program? • What is the scope of the state IPM program, i.e., agriculture, community, natural areas? • Has the state IPM program been cut back, e.g., mini-grants eliminated, coordinator time reduced? • Does the State IPM Coordinator know if the 3(d) funds are spent on IPM?

  7. Additional Considerations • If some of the 3(d) funds are available for use by the State IPM Coordinator, what percentage? • Is the salary of the State IPM Coordinator paid by state or 3(d) funding? • How can we help “brand” state IPM programs? • How can we increase teamwork in the Land Grant system? • How can we develop objective or subjective measures of success for state IPM programs? • How can we increase support for state IPM programs among higher level administrators? • How can we increase training in IPM, e.g., university courses, presentations, interns?
