TCU LACROSSE Lacrosse Information Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing team sports in the United States. No sport has grown faster at the high school level over the last 10 years and there are now an estimated 200,000 high school players. Lacrosse is also the fastest-growing sport over the last six years at the NCAA level, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. There are more than 500 college club programs, including nearly 200 women's teams that compete at the US Lacrosse Intercollegiate Associates level. TCU LACROSSE Horned Frog Opponents Each year TCU Lacrosse plays a competitive schedule and 2009 will be no different. Opponents include: Southern Methodist Baylor Oklahoma UNT Mississippi Texas A&M Texas Tech Georgia In addition the team is planning a 4 day spring break trip to play San Diego State, University of San Diego and Gonzaga. www.tculacrosse.com/mens
TCU LACROSSE Team Information We are not considered a varsity sport by the University’s Athletic Department. Currently, player’s dues account for over 50% of the team’s budget. University support is a small fraction of the team’s budget. Players are expected to fundraise to help the team supplement the operating budget. The TCU Lacrosse team balances a rigorous schedule of practice, games and academic excellence. Your support allows for chartered team buses, top of the line competition gear and travel to play MCLA opponents.
