Mercury and Venus • Mercury: Mercury is the closest planet to our sun and is the smallest planet in the solar system. It is name after a roman God. Mercury’s color is grey and have no atmosphere. • Venus: In astronomy mythology, Venus was the roman goddess of love and beauty. The diameter of Venus is 7,519 miles or 12,100 km. Venus is the 2nd planet from the sun.
Earth and Mars • Earth: Earth is a small, rocky planet which supports a variety of life! As far as we know, Earth is unique from all other planets. Earth’s diameter is 7.926 miles. • Mars: Mars is named after the Greek God of war Martius and Martialis. Mars is called the red planet because most of the rock in Mars is red. Mars’ diameter is 6,780 km.
Jupiter and Saturn • Jupiter: Jupiter is the 5th planet from the sun and the biggest within our solar system. One of the storm is called the Great Red Spot. It is mostly made out of gas and helium. • Saturn: Saturn is name after the Roman God of agriculture. Saturn is the biggest planet on the solar system. Saturn is famous because of its rings. The mass is 95 times more than earth.
Uranus and Neptune • Uranus: Uranus is the 7th planet from the sun and the 3rd of the 4 gas giants. Uranus is 14.5 bigger than Earth. It have that blue and green color and the surface is layers of clouds. • Neptune: Neptune is the eighth planet in our solar system. It is the farthest planet from the sun. It is the 4th largest planet in the solar system and the 3rd heaviest. Neptune’s color is blue.
Asteroids and Meteor • Asteroids: Asteroids are small, airless rock, dry and dusty worlds revolving around the sun that are too small to be called planets, they also can be silicon based rock. • Meteor: Meteor is a sand to a boulder sized particle of debris in the solar system. The visible path of a meteor that enters Earth’s atmosphere is known as the meteor or called the shooting star or falling star.
Sun and Luna Moon • Sun: The Sun was named after the ancient roman name. The Sun was born in a vast cloud of gas and dust around 5 billion years ago. Sun began to have light and energy and heat because of the spark of the rocks. • Luna Moon: Luna moon is a celestial object which revolves around the earth. The diameter of the moon is 2.160 miles.
Stars and Moons • Stars: A star is a sphere that is held together the force of gravity. It is sometimes seen from earth but it is very small because the distance is very far away from a solar system to another. • Moons: Moon has many different names. The moon is the Earth’s only natural satellite. It is the second brightest object in the sky (after the sun). The moon is always circling the sun.
Galaxies • Galaxy is the result of more than billions of star combining themselves into shaped that is now known as galaxy. It is a collection of stars, gas, and dust combine together because of gravity. • Galaxies are like Milky Way Galaxy, Andromeda Galaxy, Sunflower Galaxy, Spiral Galaxy and many more.
Comparison Earth Uranus Uranus is the 3rd gas giant planet The diameter of Uranus is 51118 km It is also called the Lord of the Skies and also called the Earth’s Husband. Uranus rotates in a clock wise way. • Earth is a small rocky planet • Earth have a diameter of 7.926 • The mythology name is Gaea • Earth rotates about its own axis 366.26 times.
Comparison (2) Earth Uranus The temperature in Uranus is very hot, it can reach up to 6927’C. Uranus and the Sun’s distance is 1,9 billion miles Uranus have 22 moons and the 5 big moons are Miranda, Ariel, Umbriel, Titania and Oberon. • The temperature of Earth the highest is 56.7’C and the lowest is -86’C. • The average distance from the Earth to the Sun is 149,597,870.7 km. • Earth’s facility is just right to keep us alive. Earth have 1 moon name Luna.
Comparison (3) Earth Uranus The distance from Uranus to Saturn is 1.4 million km. Uranus have hydrogen, helium and methane. Underneath the surface is water that contains of hydrogen and helium. The shape of Uranus is an eclipse and it is 14.5 bigger than Earth. • The distance from Earth to Venus is 38 million km. • Properties of Earth is rocks and soil, fossil, animals, living things, wood and my more. • The shape of the earth is an oblete spheroid.

Why is Earth the best place to sustain human life? • Earth is the best place to sustain human life because Earth have the best oxygen and atmosphere. In Earth they have plants to give us oxygen and we have to live with oxygen. Also, in Earth there are many living things such as plants and animals to be eaten so that we can survive because we need to eat to survive. We also need to drink, in Earth there are lots of energy and many drink sources ,that way, we can sustain our life.
