Napalm is jellied gasoline. It burns fast and hot. By being jellied it sticks to whatever it hits. Napalm would kill directly or start a fire. It was used to flush out the enemy. • The US dropped nearly 400,000 tons of napalm during the Vietnam War.
Agent Orange • Chemical that was used to strip trees of their leaves and to kill foliage • Intent was to destroy the rice crops to deny VC food and to clear paths, so you could see the enemy.
Consequences of agent orange • Cancer • Sterile • Birth defects and deformities (Agent Orange seeped into the soil and water supply, and therefore into the food chain. It passed from mother to fetus) • Some AO landed on our own troops. Veterans complained of serious health issues and were having children who were limbless or with DS and SB
