E. from National Taiwan University in 1980, M.S. E. & C. E. from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1983 Ph.D. in E. & C. E. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1991. Research Interest: robotics, computer vision, 3-D modeling, speech and image processing, and VLSI systems. Dr. Chuang is a member of IEEE and the Tau Beta Pi Society.
