2. Events 1990′s • Gulf War was the most efficient war in American History, despite the cost in American lives as well. After  many years fighting between Iran and Iraq. Saddam Hussein needed more funds and invaded neighbouring oil rich Kuwait, The UN showed it’s strength and a coalition force fully backed by the United Nations first bombed and then a month later ground attack to send the Iraq army back to Iraq and retook possession of Kuwait . • AIDS IN AFICA The one major concern was the high increase in Aids in Africa and into the developed world. • U.S-Sue’s skeleton: was  like 90 percent complete skeleton of a T-Rex is found in South Dakota ( Sue ) • Earthquake in Iran • Earthquake came near by the Caspian Sea in Iran which kills more then 50,000, 7.7-magnitude in 1990. • English Channel Opened • In 1994 English Channel is opened between  England to France for the first time UK-Channel Tunnel workers from the United Kingdom and France meet 40 meters beneath the English Channel.

4. 90′s Sub-Culture • 90′s grunge was the life style, when grunge was really recognized. Grunge became commercially successful in the first half of the 1990s, due mainly to the release of Nirvana’s Nevermind and Pearl Jam’s Ten. The success of these bands boosted the popularity of alternative rock and which made the grunge most popular hard rock music at the time.The genre became closely associated with Generation X in the US, since the awareness of each rose simultaneously. However, many grunge bands were uncomfortable with this popularity. Although most grunge bands had disbanded or faded from view by the late 1990s, their influence continues to impact modern rock music. • Nirvana released a stark, noisy record named ‘In Utero’ as their follow-up to the more radio-friendly Nevermind,’ and while it was a judging success other bands such as Stone Temple Pilots and Blind Melon began to move in a poppier direction.

5. Grunge Look • In 90’s grunge look was very obvious .Which was highly influenced by grunge music that became quite popular during this time period. In this era clothing was highly influenced by the hit music bands. The clothing style was popularized by them. Which was followed in 92.Teenagers loved to sport long hairs and wear zany sneakers in a splash of colors such as forest green and red. Layers of tops, Flannel shirts which were huge for men and women liked them too, Anything plaid, Ripped denim, Baggy clothes, Cardigans and very baggy jumpers, Hats, Combat boot Or worn old high top sneakers or baseball boots.
