The Water Cycle 2/3/12 By Kelly Conway
Evaporation • Evaporation is when water from a puddle or stream is evaporated into the air. • Evaporation happens when water on the ground( in a puddle or a stream)
Condensation • Condensation is when the water vapor in the air condenses into little drops of water. • Condensation happens when the tiny water droplets from the air come together to form a cloud.
Precipitation • Precipitation is when moisture falls from the clouds. • Precipitation happens when the clouds get so heavy that they start to let the moisture out and it starts to rain , snow or hail.
Run-off • The run-off is when the moisture soaks in (or slides down into a stream or puddle) and into the ground . Then the cycle starts over again. • The run-off happens when the moisture that falls soaks into the ground ( or slides down into a stream or a puddle) and then the cycle starts all over again.
