Resolved: The Salem Witch Trials were caused by fear of women Debate Format • Affirmative Constructive Speech: 2/3 minutes. • Negative Cross Examination: 1/2 minutes. • Negative Constructive Speech: 2/3 minutes. • Affirmative Cross Examination: 1/2 minutes. • Time for both teams to prepare rebuttals: 3 minutes. • Negative rebuttal: 2 minutes • Affirmative rebuttal: 2 minutes.
