  3. Magic Wand Tool • The First thing we do is outline the background with the magic wand tool. It selects the pixels in the surrounding area that is the most similar to it, to a degree that we choose. We always remember to hold shift so it can add to the selection, instead selecting a whole new selection []. • Then we delete with the backspace or delete key. This gets rid of your selection. Then you deselect the area to continue (⌘+D).

  4. Tools ✓

  5. Blur Tool • Then we use the blur tool to add pixels to the outline of the brush stencil when we click. It will add pixels that are similar to the surrounding area of the brush. This omits the more choppier pixels that were deleted.
