Get involved in a scientific and social network among PhD students and PostDocs Friday September 4th 2009; 1 pm - 6 pm (+ dinner) Christies gate 13 (Room 207) The retreat is open to all PhD students and Postdocs at the MBI, Informatics Institute, Biomedicine, the Sars Center and CBU. MCB - Young Scientist Retreat Bergen 2009 We invite you to MCB’s Young Scientist Retreat 2009 (YSR’09). It is a great opportunity to meet your fellow PhD-students and Postdocs and learn about their research. We encourage you to submit an abstract of your work (or any published work that you find interesting). From the submitted abstracts, talks will be drawn (presentations of 10 to 15 min). Program: 13:00-13:15 Welcome 13:15-14:30 Talks 14:30-15:00 Coffee Break 15:00-16:30 Talks 16:30-17:00 Coffee Break 17:00-17:45 Keynote 19:00 Dinner Registration and Abstract Deadline: August 21, 2009 Submit an abstract (300 words); don’t miss the chance to discuss your project with your colleagues.
