  1. Technology Leaves Teens Speechless. By : Olivia Barker, USA TODAY. http://www.usatoday.com/tech/news/techinnovations/2006-05-29-teen-texting_x.htm

  2. The Phone Bill. Some families phone bills are sometimes a little over $300 a month. This families phone bill was due to their daughter texting to much. Any type of phone bill that’s over $300 a month or as high as $300 is way to much.

  3. How Many Texts A Month. From the Article – I would proudly say that, “I send over 1,00 texts a month”, says Alexandra Smith. Lindsay Lohan on the Ellen DeGeneres said that “Every time I've seen you, you're out with eight or nine girls, having dinner. You're all sitting around the table on your BlackBerries.” She also explained that “She had like 1,000 texts to reply too.” I personally sent over 1,400 texts a month before.

  4. What The Teens Use To Talk. Teens use I.M on Facebook, or any type of messenger. Mostly all the teens have a Smartphone that you can download I.M on it. So they have both I.M & texting all in one. "We are losing very natural, human, instinctive skills that we used to be really good at," says Sonya Hamlin, author of How to Talk So People Listen: Connecting in Today's Workplace.

  5. When kids are usually sitting beside one another, or are in the same room, they always text on another. • Why do we do it? • We do it because, we don’t want other people to know what we are talking about, especially our parents. • Stefani Beser says, “We could literally lean our computer chairs back and talk to each other, but we IM and text." What Kids Do.

  6. Percentages. “ In 2004, 22% of North American cellphone subscribers were active texters, according to Nokia's Bill Plummer.” Last year in 2010, it was 36%. “In 2005, more than 500 billion text messages were sent and received worldwide, as reported by Verizon Wireless”. By 2010, it is projected to be more than 2.3 trillion.

  7. When you text all the time you could start having problems with your hand. When you text so many people at once, you could send someone the wrong message. Your phone bill will keep getting higher, & higher. Even though I personally text all the time, & for me it’s easier, but you also need to talk on the phone. Why do you need to talk on the phone? You can communicate better, & you don’t forget how to talk. Do You Want To Text All The Time?
