Cookie Kickers By Liam Hopson Member of Toxic Sushi PLC
Mission Statement • “Here at Toxic Sushi, we aim to provide cheap cereal while providing leading taste, nutrition and sport encouragement. We aim to help aid football development programs to keep the nation active.”
Aims & Objectives • To generate £2.5 million revenue in our first financial year • To generate £1 million profit in our first financial year • To distribute ¼ million footballs in our first year • To sign a contract with a football player in the premier league for advertisement purposes. • To get a greater than 1% market share in the first year • To begin a research and development stage of a spin off of Cookie Kickers, intended in a different sport such as tennis or rugby.
Product • We decided to create a child friendly cereal as this would be more likely to succeed. Our market research, surveys and personal experiences showed that people are more likely to consume cereal the younger they are. • This is usually due to adults and teenagers having to rush for work or school and they may have some toast or nothing at times.
Product • We have developed a product that are essentially cookies however have been modified to be a cereal as oppose to snack. • Our product is designed to retail 750g at £2.99 and the special pack of 1kg at £4.99. The special pack is designed to encourage people to buy the product again, building up brand loyalty, this will provide the buyer with a football at their third purchase.
Product • We have adopted the mascot (due to most other children’s cereals having some sort of mascot) of the Cookie Monster as we believe this will attract the children as well as the parents as he is a recognisable character. • We feel that the football idea was a good path to take as this would be popular with parents as they feel this would encourage their children to pick up more sport.
