Om -Brahma or Almighty God Bhur -Embodiment of Vital Spiritual energy (prana) Bhuvaha -Destroyer of sufferings, Swaha-Embodiment of happiness Tat –That Savitur – Bright, luminous like the sun Varenyam – Best, most exalted Bhargo – Destroyer of sins, pains and sufferings Devasya – Divine Dhimahi – May imbibe Dhiyo– Intellect Yo – Who Nah – Our Prachodayat – May inspire The Four parts of Gayatri Mantra.

  4. This meditation is extremely useful for controlling mind & developing righteousness. It is also useful for self realization. It increases the Concentration power of mind Importance of Sadhana.

  5. When to perform GayatriSadhana. • GayatriUpasana can be performed mentally at any time in any circumstance. It is doubtlessly beneficial in every condition • Early morning is the best time for Regular Upasana. One should start it after routine cleansing of the body • In case of sickness or while travelling partial cleansing can be done before starting the Sadhana • Spend at least 15 minutes daily for GayatriSadhana and be regular
