If you were absent Yesterday… • We were in the computer lab. • 1st year people need to pick up the folder for FAMOUS/NOTABLE DEAF (save to your history folder in your eNotebook) 2nd year people need to pick up the HEARING/DEAF HISTORY TIMELINE PROJECT (save to your history folder in your eNotebook)

  6. ANDREW FOSTER NOTES • Taking Notes is a big part of Interpreting. • If you take lousy notes the deaf person’s grade is directly affected. • You will take notes. Later I will give your paper to another person to take the test. • You can see it a person would pass a test by using your notes. WL Standards 1.2 Students understand and interpret written and spoken language on a variety of topics. • CCTE Communication: 1.The student uses listening and observation skills and strategies to gain understanding.

Language: FOOD AND MONEY • Finish making food orders and practicing money signs with a partner. • Get blank “Food Ordering Slip” from teacher if you were absent on Tuesday. • ½ class sits with back to screen; ½ can see screen. • People looking at screen decide what they want from the menu they see; then sign it to their partner. • CCTE Communication2.The student uses communication skills and strategies • to interact/work effectively with others.
