  3. Pledge and Active point Requirements Social / Volunteer
  4. Pledge RequirementsAll Pledges must complete the following in order to become an active Fulfill social and volunteer requirements 32 points : 75 points $60.00 Dues This pays for food & drink at meetings, social events and camping trip
  5. Point System Social Points are obtained from meetings or make up meetings (2), social events (1-4), IM events (2) and the camping trip (10). Volunteer points are from volunteer hours! 1 Volunteer hour at AED event = 5 points 1 Non-AED volunteer hour = 2 points Point system allows us to be flexible We can allocate the correct amount of points for different amounts of time (not all events are the same)

Social Points Social Points are obtained from meetings or make up meetings (2), social events (1-4), IM events (2) and the camping trip (10). 32 Points needed EX: Suzie attends: All 5 meetings = 2 x 5 = 10 Camping trip = 10 3 IM events = 3 x 2 = 6 3 Small Socials = 3 x 2 = 6 1 Big Social = 4 Total = 36 points
  7. Volunteer Points Volunteer points are from volunteer hours! 1 Volunteer hour at AED event = 5 points 1 Non-AED volunteer hour = 2 points 75 points needed or 15 AED hours Hours done from activities outside of AED must be recorded on volunteer log sheet which can be downloaded from AED website
  8. Outside Volunteer Hours Outside volunteer hours are capped to 12 hours from now on – this means you can only get 24 points maximum from outside volunteering,

  10. Volunteer and Social Events in One Spot Does not require you to remember a login to view the events, but if we start getting infiltrated at our events it MIGHT be in order -Everything available is on the website -Avoid searching your emails
  11. Login Information There will be a password for member’s restricted items such as course review forms, the points page, and more Login: Password: (not available online) It’ll be on the facebook page in case you forget texasaed
  12. Make a Suggestion Make a suggestion to help us get even better than we are. You can do it anonymously or you can include your name/email so we can get back to you. We do read these! Get a shoutout if we use your suggestion!
