To form the near future in Spanish you follow 3 steps… • 1.-Use the present tense of “ir” : How? What is an infinitive? • If you look up a verb (doing word) in the dictionary it will give you the infinitive. • It is the basic form of the verb before it has been conjugated. • In Spanish it will either end in AR, IR or ER. • In English it is a verb with ‘to’ in front of it, for example: • to sing, to play, to run, to dance, to eat, to live
