  4. Question: • What will happen to the length of a shadow created by our shadowstick over a period of ten months?

  5. Will that shadow length always remain the same? • Will it change? • If so, how & why does it change?

  6. DO NOW: Please take out Page 1

  7. In your groups: • While your class is outside, you can also have your class make a measurement of the Sun’s angle in the sky. • How do you think you and your students could determine the angle of the Sun?

  8. Activity: • Using the black piece of paper and the piece of chalk, draw a picture of the Moon.

  9. Keeping a Moon Journal In your groups: What do you think the benefits are to having students keep a moon journal?
