Prerequisites: • Computer skills: such as the ability to use a mouse. • Understanding of: • Windows software structure • The concept of “Word Processor”

Creating a New Document: Instructions: • Click the New icon on the Standard Toolbar or • Click the File button on your Menu Bar • Click New • Click Blank document in the Task Pane to the right of the screen
Selecting Text: - Point and double click • Single Word: • Multiple Words: • Point, click, and drag the mouse across the words you want to select • Release the button
Moving Text: • Select the text to move • Point anywhere on the selected text, hold down the left button and drag the pointer to its new location • Release the mouse button Instructions:
