Illegal drugs are not regulated by the FDA. This means you don’t know where they came from or what else is in them. Other drugs or toxic substances like cleaning materials can be mixed in. These drugs or chemicals can make you sick and cause death.

Studies show that the best way to be successful at something is to surround yourself with others who are successful. If all your friends are physically fit you are more likely to be fit also. In 1998 47% of young people thought that drinking 5 drinks on a single occasion once or twice a week was a great risk. 31% thought smoking marijuana once a month was a great risk 54% thought using cocaine once a month was a great risk These are all great risks Healthy People 2010 have a goal of 80 % associating these activities with great risk.
