MLK Auditorium Who should come?All students – freshman, sophomores, juniors, & seniors. Everyone who needs a job in their major to get valuable, relevant experience. How should I dress? Professional business attire is mandatory. You won’t get in without it Who’s coming? Approximately 82 vendors including employers & graduate schools To do what? Offer jobs, and internships How can I sign up? Go to http://www.desu.edu/special/cpp/internetresources.php - Click on MONSTERTRAK - A dialogue box will launch for you to key in login information. You may key in as return user or enter school password – hornets - Once in MonsterTRAK, sign in with username and password or create a new account. - Once you sign in, click on Career Fairs and make sure the school you select is Delaware State University as the school (it may auto select for you) - Make sure the word CURRENT EVENT is selected in the events box. - Under Events you should see the current job fair listed and a button to sign up; click on the sign-up button and complete the information. Why should I sign up? You can win free tickets to the Homecoming Concert, Step Show, & Saturday Night Party!! Winners must be present at the fair to win. Drawing is at 1:30pm. If I do not sign up can I still attend? Yes, but you won’t win the tickets!!!! How can I prepare? Create or modify your resume. Make an appointment with Career Services to review it by calling (302) 857-6120 or stopping the office in the MLK Room 136. Go to: http://www2.monstertrak.monster.com/products/cf_employer_list.pl?cfid=10481. Once there, click on the details button to see what majors they are recruiting and what jobs they are hiring for. Do not be fooled by the employer’s name. Many businesses have multiple needs such as HR, PR, Accounting, management needs, social work/psychology, teaching, etc. so read them carefully.
