Effective Paragraphs Example Paragraph Your mouth contains three different types of teeth, and each type has a role in how you break down food. Incisors are wide, thin teeth at the front of your mouth. They help you cut, tear, and hold food. Next to them are canines, which are pointy teeth that cut and tear food. Behind the canines are molars. Like your other teeth, molars cut food. However, they also have ridges that help break up and grind food.
