  3. Background: Alcohol intoxication among adolescents is a growing problem in the Netherlands. Objective:To investigate intoxication numbers and characteristics throughout all hospitals in The Netherlands Methods: 1. Data from the Dutch Pediatric Surveillance system (NSCK), which monitors admissions of alcohol intoxicated adolescents, were analyzed. 2. Patients, aged 10 –17 years old, with reduced consciousness due to alcohol intoxication were included. Brussels 2013
