  2. The data presented on the following slides is from the National Center for Disease Control(CDC), Washington State Department of Health (DOH), and the Division of Developmental Disabilities(DDD). Methodology: The data is extracted from the DOH website and merged with the DDD data. The CDC codes for cause of death are listed on the CDC website. The major categories and subcategories are provided by the DOH. The merging of the DOH data along with the ICD 10 codes from the CDC allows an in-depth analysis of the causes of death.
