  1. The aspects of the sinful nature are obvious : sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery, idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissentions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies and the like Gal 5: 19,20

  2. And the Lord God said “ The man has now become like one of us knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat and live forever” So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. After He drove the man out he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden Cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of lifeGenesis 3: 22 -24

  3. Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel went up and saw the God of Israel. Under His feet was something like a pavement made of sapphire, clear as the sky itself. But God did not raise His hand against these leaders of the Israelites they saw God and they ate and drankExodus 24 : 9-11

As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient . All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following it’s desires and thoughts. Like the rest we were by nature objects of wrathEphesians 2: 1 -3

  6. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of needHeb 4: 16 • Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles and run with perseverance the race that is marked out for usHeb 12: 1b
