“Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out, ‘Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready; it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure’— for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.” Revelation 19:6-8

Confession of Sin Merciful Father, we have sinned against you. Forgive us for the sins of our tongues: gossip, slander, impatience, and tempers out of control. Forgive us for the sins of our eyes: impurity in our gazes, lusting after fleeting pleasures and treasures not our own. Forgive us for the sins of our hearts: indifference, hard-heartedness, self-pity and pride.
Confession of Sin Forgive us above all for rebelling against your lordship and doubting your love. Now, Holy Father, kill our envy, remove our pride, and melt our hearts. Give us grace to be transformed into your likeness and live wholly for your glory. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Scripture Reading Proverbs 5 My son, be attentive to my wisdom; incline your ear to my understanding,2 that you may keep discretion, and your lips may guard knowledge.3 For the lips of a forbidden woman drip honey,and her speech is smoother than oil,4 but in the end she is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword. 5 Her feet go down to death; her steps follow the path to Sheol;
Scripture Reading Proverbs 5 6she does not ponder the path of life; her ways wander, and she does not know it. 7 And now, O sons, listen to me,and do not depart from the words of my mouth.8 Keep your way far from her, and do not go near the door of her house,9 lest you give your honor to others and your years to the merciless, 10 lest strangers take their fill of your strength, and your labors go to the house of a foreigner,
Scripture Reading Proverbs 5 11and at the end of your life you groan, when your flesh and body are consumed,12 and you say, “How I hated discipline, and my heart despised reproof!13 I did not listen to the voice of my teachers or incline my ear to my instructors. 14 I am at the brink of utter ruin in the assembled congregation.” 15 Drink water from your own cistern, flowing water from your own well.
Scripture Reading Proverbs 5 16Should your springs be scattered abroad, streams of water in the streets?17 Let them be for yourself alone, and not for strangers with you.18 Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice in the wife of your youth, 19 a lovely deer, a graceful doe.Let her breasts fill you at all times with delight; be intoxicated always in her love.
Scripture Reading Proverbs 5 20Why should you be intoxicated, my son, with a forbidden woman and embrace the bosom of an adulteress?21 For a man's ways are before the eyes of the Lord, and he ponders all his paths.22 The iniquities of the wicked ensnare him, and he is held fast in the cords of his sin.23 He dies for lack of discipline, and because of his great folly he is led astray.
S Sermon on the Mount
Matthew 5 27 ¶ “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell.
31 “It was also said, ‘Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.’ 32 But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except on the ground of sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery. And whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

3) The Severity for Guarding If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. ”A man will never have a pure heart as long as he equivocates about the sinfulness of lust- … if he is indecisive in this point he will never have the courage to win the battle that lies before him. His constant waffling will weaken any resolve to do the hard thing.” Steve Gallagher of Pure Life Ministries
“The sexualization of girls is not just shattering the lives of girls and women, it is preventing boys and young men from relating to girls and women as complex human beings with so much to offer them. It is preventing boys from forming healthy friendships and working relationships with girls and women .” American Psychological Association

“ you cannot destroy love for the world merely by showing its emptiness. Even if we could do so, that would lead only to despair. …World–centered love of our hearts can be expelled only by a new love and affection—for God and from God. …..the love of the world can be driven out only by the love of the Father.” Thomas Chalmers (1780-1847) The Expulsive Power of a New Affection.
