  3. VBA’s Transformation • All 56 regional offices have transferred into the new organizational model: • Segmented lanes • Cross-functional teams • Intake Processing Centers Rating Decisions

  4. VBA’s Transformation All 56 regional offices are processing Fully Developed Claims, Electronic Disability Questionnaires (DBQs), and paperless CAPRI records. Rating Decisions

  5. VBA’s Transformation VBMS has been deployed to all 56 regional offices. As of May10, 2013, all new claims coming into the Nashville RO are being put in VBMS. As of August, 2013, we have 30% of our claims in VBMS. Rating Decisions

  8. VBA’s 2 Year Initiative VBA launched an initiative in April 2013 to expedite claims processing for all claims pending for more than 2 years. From April 19th, VBA completed… 71,000 Claims or 99.7% of claims pending over 2 years

  9. VBA’s 1 Year Initiative After the 2 Year Initiative, VBA immediately focused on claims pending for more than 1 year. From June 20th - September 3rd, VBA completed… 139,205 Claims or 51% of claims pending over 1 year
