  2. The Texas State Intensive English program offers instruction in English as a Second Language through a strong curriculum taught by ESL professors. We are confident that TSIE students will experience the best quality ESL program with respect to academic, cultural, and test preparation.

  3. The Texas State Undergraduate and Graduate Schools have a TSIE admission policy known as the “4550 Agreement” TSIE Texas State University The 4550 Agreement

  4. The 4550 Agreement is another way to meet language requirements required by all Texas State University departments

  5. What do I need to do to use the “4550 Agreement?” • Complete the advanced levels of all four TSIE skill courses • Writing 4550 • Oral Skills 4550 • Grammar 4550 • Reading 4550 • Earn a final grade of a ‘B’ (84%) or higher in all four skill courses
