  2. I was born in Canton, China in 1917 • I arrived in the United States at the age of 18 in 1935

  3. I moved here to study architecture. I am now one of the most famous architectures in the world.

  4. I received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology

  5. I was not an indentured servant. I moved here to study.

  6. Working and living here was better than in my homeland. I had more to design from. • The native community enjoyed my well architectural designs.

  7. I settled in Boston, Massachusetts, which is where I did all my studies at MIT .

  8. I was famous for my architectural designs (examples below) • I was awarded the highest architectural honor at MIT. Grand Louvre Paris, France Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Cleveland, Ohio

  9. I have given this century some of its most beautiful interior spaces, and exterior forms. National Center for Atmospheric Research First Bank Place
