  6. Student Education Planner:Resolutions and Enhancements

Performance Resolutions: • Still Needed List: • Gives correct advice for courses with Attributes in conjunction with wildcard. • No longer truncates rule qualifiers • Warning generated when duplicate courses are used • Save As corrected in template management. • Plans with blank descriptions cannot be saved. • Created by now shows name instead of ID. • A deleted term is now available in term drop down. • DAP54: Now looking at starting term type

  8. Performance Improvements and Enhancements: Collapses Terms: Plans will open with all terms collapsed except active terms. This setting can be adjusted to include previous and future terms based on client needs. Improved time for initial loading of the Plans tab Batch Tracking: DAP58 Note preview window size has been adjusted. Documentation Change: No longer called Technical Guide. Now called Administrative Guide. New Web View

  9. New Web View Compact (Calendar) View: Creates a view only access to the Plan. Includes a Print-Friendly option. Can adjust setting for initial view. Calendar view renders more quickly. Notes, Tracking, Comparison and Audit Views to come!

  11. General Information: • Version Requirements • Degree Works 4.1.3 • Banner XE Registration 9 • Released to group of selected partners. • Data Pulled from Degree Works • Plans: Active and Locked • Notes associated with Plans-Plan, term and course level

  12. What Happens in Banner? Student has the option to pull in Plan from Degree Works. Student can save Plan to register at later date. Student can also search for sections and register. Can save multiple Plans in Banner Registration Information does not read back to Degree Works Plans, but will show on audit.

  13. Transfer Finder: On the Horizon

  14. What is Transfer Finder? A new feature tab on the Degree Works dashboard that promotes enhanced transfer capabilities for students who are looking for courses or programs outside their school, among institutions that are trading partners and who share information using Degree Works. This is particularly for state-wide, system-wide or trading partner consortia situations. More information will be available at Ellucian Live
