Was in love with nature He joined the Worker’s Party upon graduating He attended Harvard College Worked their way up into the government Married Alice Hathaway His brother drowned in 1947 Very sick as a young boy

Affect on History/Legacy Kim Jung il Teddy Roosevelt Put North Korea in a state of famine Started Progressive party or aka Bull Moose party Killed 17 South Korean officials in the 1983 bombing Helped with the building of the panama canal Both dictators in their own ways Killed 115 people on a Korean jet in the 1987 bombing Has made nuclear weapons available to his country
