Narrow Little Road I believe in the love of God It is an orphan’s wildest dream It is a narrow little road It is an ever-widening desert stream
Oh I, and I, I will leave this road For the narrow (x2)
It is portrayed in the bread and wine Let it fortify my bones It is more than just a sign It is the fountain from the desert stone
Oh I, and I, I will leave this road For the narrow (x2)
The love of God is the hymn of hope Let the needy join the throng Let the fallen take the rope Let the cripple rise to sing the song
Oh I, and I, I will leave this road For the narrow (x2)
It is the path where the humble go It is the narrow not the broad It is the pathway up the hill To the graveyard of the living God
Oh I, and I, I will leave this road For the narrow (x3) “Narrow Little Road” (2003) Words & Music: Red Mountain Church CCLI: 11148322

O Sacred Head, Now Wounded O Sacred Head, now wounded, With grief and shame weighed down, Now scornfully surrounded with thorns, Thine only crown.
How pale art Thou with anguish, with sore abuse and scorn! Oh how your face bears sorrow which once was bright as morn.
Men mock and taunt and jeer Thee, Thou noble countenance,Though mighty worlds shall fear Thee and flee before Thy glance.
Grim death, with cruel rigor, hath robbed Thee of Thy life; Thus Thou has lost Thy vigor, Thy strength, in this sad strife.
You bled by our hands. You bled by our hands. You bled by our hands. You bled.
My burdens You have carried, My sins You have borne. For it was my transgression That brought this woe and scorn.
I cast me down before Thee, Wrath my rightful lot, But You who have sweet mercy– Redeemer on the cross.
You bled by our hands. You bled by our hands. You bled by our hands. You bled. (x2) For me. For you. For us. (x3)
When soul and body languish, Oh, leave me not alone, But take away mine anguish By virtue of Thine own!
What language shall I borrow To thank Thee, dearest Friend, For this, Thy dying sorrow, Thy pity without end? “O Sacred Head Now Wounded” (1250) Words: Arnulf of Louvaint, JW Hassler Music: HL Hassler, JS Bach; Arr: Page CXVI CCLI: 11148322
Let Us Love and Sing and Wonder Let us love and sing and wonder, Let us praise the Savior’s name. He has hushed the law’s loud thunder, He has quenched Mount Sinai’s flame.
Let us love the Lord Who bought us, Pitied us when enemies. Called us by His Grace and taught us, Gave us ears and gave us eyes.
He has washed us with his blood He has washed us with his blood He has washed us with his blood He presents us whole to God.
Let us wonder grace and justice, Join and point to mercy’s store. When through grace in Christ our trust is, Justice smiles and asks no more.
He has washed us with his blood He has washed us with his blood He has washed us with his blood He presents us whole to God.
Let us praise and join the chorus, Of the saints enthroned on high. Here they trusted Him before us, Now their praises fill the sky.
“Let Us Love and Sing and Wonder” (1774) Words: John Newton Arr: Jars of Clay CCLI: 11148322
Ecclesiastes 6:1-12 “Eating the Profits” Sermon notes @ http://bible.com/e/1F52
Ecclesiastes 6:1-12 There is an evil that I have seen under the sun, and it lies heavy on mankind: 2 a man to whom God gives wealth, possessions, and honor, so that he lacks nothing of all that he desires, yet God does not give him power to enjoy them, but a stranger enjoys them. This is vanity; it is a grievous evil. 3 If a man fathers a hundred children and lives many years, so that the days of his years are many, but his soul is not satisfied with life's good things, and he also has no burial, I say that a stillborn child is better off than he.
