  3. Early Life • Richards brothers are Harold, Donald , Arthur and Edward. • Francis and Hannah were Richard Nixon's second sons. • Childhood was he opened a gas station and a grocery store in Whittier, California. • Richard went to Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

  4. Family Life • Richard married Thelma Ryan. • They had two children and a dog. • Richard had a BIG family.

  5. The Election • Richard chose Spiro Anew and Gerald Ford as vice president. • Richard ran against John F. Kennedy and lost the election.

  6. Significant Events in Presidency • An issue that Richard addressed was the Watergate Scandal. • The Watergate Scandal was an Issue because burglars were caught breaking in the Democratic National Committee’s main office.
