  1. 4 common mistakes that proofreading can solve easily So you are done with the exhausting process of writing an essay, But then as heave a sigh of relief, you realize, “I still need to proofread my essay”. This isn’t an unusual situation for any student; often they are so caught up in the writing process that they completely bypass the editing and proofreading part or haphazardly carry out the process in a hurry. Now listed below are some common errors that students tend to overlook while working on their papers. 1. Too much reliance on the spell-check Undoubtedly, spell-check is one of the most convenient tools ever. It helps the students to ensure the words on their paper are spelt accurately. Even if I assume that most of us are fairly accomplished in spelling and grammar, but there are those particular words that create trouble each and every time, and prompts us to buy an essay from an online essay service provider. You need to understand that even though spell-check is effective, it isn’t 100% foolproof, so you have to be cautious. 2. Inappropriate person Almost every student encounters a problem of using wrong perspectives while writing at some point, no matter how accomplished an essay writer they are. Even though it’s a rather common problem, it can be addressed with a little bit of understanding. The two most usual perspectives of writing are the first and third person. The second person perspective is typically not used for most of the academic papers unless it’s specified. Mostly, the third person perspective is used when something’s applicable to everyone and not any one person specifically. 3. Use of Fragments It’s extremely common for students to write long rambling sentences or one that doesn’t depict a complete idea. Spell-checks, however, do detect fragments for the writer to rectify before turning the essay in. But still, you have to be careful not to miss out any of those fragments in a hurry 4. Not proofreading thoroughly

  2. Even though it’s true that by the time you finish writing the essay you are too tired to sit for another hour to edit and proofread. But it’s imperative for a well- drafted essay. As we’ve already mentioned, spell-check doesn't always catch every type of error that can be seen in typical writing. So you can have someone else read over the paper or proofread it for you. When you are aware of these common mistakes, you are less likely to make any in the future.
