For and against • In your groups divide your large sheet of paper into two sections • In one section record the arguments for the ban • In the other record the arguments against the ban • Identify which points are ‘Fact’ and which are ‘Opinion’
Consequences • What effect would the ban have on • Young people? • Shop owners? • Parents?
Alternatives • What alternatives are there for: • Young people under 16? • Shop owners? • Parents? • Each alternative should be based on scientific reasoning (“because....”)
