  2. Competition Managers Nationally 49 Senior Competition Managers Each of which is based in a County Sports Partnership geographical area. Approx 250 Competition Managers Managed by the Senior Competition Manager – 1 CM based over 2 School Sports Partnerships.

Competition Managers Purpose of the job: To manage and co-ordinate the planning and implementation of a programme of inter-school competition within the identified School Sport Partnerships (SSP) using the national school competition framework as the basis. To increase the number of young people engaged in high quality competition.

Competition Managers What does that mean for Lincolnshire: Deployment of the Competition Manager Team throughout the County Establishment and running of new Secondary Zones Audit of current provision / possible future provision Work with NGB on establishment of Competition Pathways for Lincs Introduction of New Competition / Help with existing Competitions / SSA

Central venue competitions linked to Clubs Football (Girls) –Increase in ESFA Structured Competition Football (Boys) – Increase in ESFA Structured Competition Golf –Tri Golf County Finals Netball –High 5 Leagues / Competitions – County Finals summer 2010 Rounder’s – County Finals summer 2010 Rugby Union – Tag Rugby County Finals Tennis – Mini Tennis Red County Finals Volleyball – 3v3

Competition Managers County Finals Run by National Governing Body - SCM Schools Sports Partnership Branston Cluster Event City Cluster Event LSST Cluster Event Witham Cluster Event Robert Pattinson Cluster Event NK Cluster Event SSPP Cluster Event Seven Multi Skill events – 1 for each cluster Run by SSCO’s or SSA Seven events per cluster per year. If not enough interest then the SSCo’s can put 2 clusters together.
