Step # 1 • Measure your Carbon Footprint; you can use the tool we provide: • http://www.seattlegov/climate/docs/CO2_Tool_2.1.xls • We can help you or you can engage the Resource Venture or other consultants • This is a necessary 1st step in order to establish your baseline
Step # 2 • Make your plan to take steps to reduce the footprint • There are public and private agencies that can help in these areas • Energy • Materials (especially paper) • Waste • Water • Transportation
Step # 3 • Tell your story • Display your progress • Report your success
Step # 4 • Grow & Strengthen the Partnership • Your tenants • Your colleagues • Your industry
